Robert E. Bushway, Jr.

Robert E. Bushway Jr.  also known as “Bob” died unexpectedly on June 25th, 2020 at the age of 47 years old in a motorcycle accident.

Robert was born on July 20, 1972 in Lempster, NH to Robert and Barbara Bushway. He graduated from Newport High School in 1991.  Robert has worked at Durgin and Crowell Lumber Co since 1996.

Robert lived a very full life with his life partner Cindy Linn of 22 years in Lempster NH, they enjoyed so many things together and were always so full of love for each other and others. 

Robert had two children, Danielle Newcomb of Sunapee NH and Brandon Bushway Of Unity NH and was a great father and grandfather to Danielle’s two children Bentley and Annabelle and also to Cindy’s children and grandchildren too. Bob was a man everyone adored. Robert had 7 brothers and sisters, Ruth Quimby of Laconia NH, Margaret Lizotte of Texas,  Helen Blaine of Lempster NH, Maurice Bushway of North Dakota,  William Bushway of Lempster NH, Emma Pelletier of Goshen NH, And Walter Bushway of Newport NH. Robert also has too many to count nieces and nephews that he loved very much! Robert is predeceased by his beloved Father Robert E. Bushway Sr. who passed away in October of 2018. 

Robert loved to fish and easy to find on the pond or camping with Cindy and grandchildren or with his family. Everyone who met Robert enjoyed him and his company, he was an all-around great man who was taken from us far too soon. 

All are welcome to attend calling hours for Robert on July 3rd, 2020 at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home from the hours of 5-7pm in Newport NH.
