Newport, NH: Robin (Gobin) Simoneau, 67, of Newport (Goshen), died Tuesday, March 22, 2022.

Robin was born in Newport on September 20, 1954, the daughter of the late Hazel (Gladue) Johnson and Robert Gobin. She graduated from Sugar River Valley, earning a degree in Humanities. She lived in Goshen, Newport, Massachusetts, and Vermont.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and fishing. She is remembered for her laughter, her smile, her warmth, and her homemade bread.

Robin is predeceased by her mother, Hazel.

Members of her surviving family include her daughter, Crystal Stone and son-in-law Thomas Stone of Newport; Erin Andersen of Sunapee; son-in law Edward Andersen of Sunapee; Maureen Brow of Claremont; John Brow and his wife Kristina Brow of Springfield; her brother Louis Gobin of Stratham; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Newport, on Friday, May 6, 2022  from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Mill Village Cemetery in Goshen at 11:00 AM.
