Ronald David Clough, Sr.

Newport, NH: Ronald "Ronnie" David Clough, Sr. died unexpectedly at his home on September 29, 2021 at the age of 69. Ronnie was born on July 4, 1952, in Claremont, NH to Roger and June Clough. Ronnie graduated from Newport High in 1971. He just attended his 50th Class Reunion. Ronnie married Deborah Jennings in 1976. Ronnie worked for Tama-Delta, Joy Manufacturing, and Sturm Ruger where he worked for more than 30 years in the Heat Treat department. On June 6, 1977, the couple welcomed Ronald David Clough, Jr., his one and only son. Ronnie was a generous individual who loved family and friends. He was passionate and proud of his son and his family in Temecula, California. For many years, Ronnie was an active member of the Grange and a member of the Moose Lodge.

Ronnie is predeceased by his parents, Roger and June Clough, his step-brother Clearance Clough of Claremont, step-brother Bobbie Clough of Unity, Donald Clough of Georgia, his step-sister Ethel Jarvis of Unity, and his nephew, Fred Clough Jr. of Newport.

Surviving family members include his son, Ronald David Clough, Jr. and his wife Kelley Clough, his grandson Elijah Cole, all of Temecula, California; his brother Fred Clough of Newport, NH, his nephew Roger Clough of  Claremont, NH, and his sister, Brenda Clough of White River, VT.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Monday, October 11, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Newport Moose Lodge.
