Grantham, NH: Ronald R. Leone, 86, of Grantham, passed away the morning of April 1, 2022.
Ronald was born on August 11, 1935, in New London, to Ralph H. Leone and Florence (Goodeill) Collins. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force, spending some time at a base in England.
He earned his Bachelor's degree as an electrical engineer. He worked for various places, including Yankee Barn and Dartmouth Printing. He not only did machine maintenance, but also helped with many other tasks since he also had great knowledge of construction. He built his own house, worked on his own cars, and fabricated things he needed.
Ronald was a big fan of western films and World War II documentaries or movies based on true events. One of his favorite DVDs was Gunsmoke. He enjoyed helping people, being outdoors, and working in the woods cutting firewood. His favorite saying was "Wood is Good".
He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph Leone and Florence Collins; his wife, Susan (Cutting) Leone; his sister Shirley Leone; and his brothers: Ralph Leone, Richard Leone, Larry Collins, and Richard Collins II.
Surviving family includes his two sons, Steven Leone and Ernest Leone, his brother Robert Collins, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Eastman Cemetery in Sunapee at 1:00 PM.
