Sandra Jenkins Trudeau, 57, formerly of Nashua, NH and Tyngsboro, MA, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, surrounded by her family, after a long and courageous battle with Huntington’s Disease.
Born on October 7, 1968, Sandy grew up in Tyngsboro, MA attended college, and worked at SUN Microsystems before making her home in Nashua with husband Ron Trudeau, where they raised their two children, Danielle and Cameron. Her children were her life’s greatest joy; both went on to serve their country honorably in the U.S. military, something that filled her with immeasurable pride.
Sandy was diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease in 2005, and for over two decades, she faced every day with strength, humor, and grace. Even as the disease took her ability to speak and move, she never lost her smile, warmth, or hope. She has been lovingly cared for by her devoted parents for the past 15 years in their home.
Sandy loved her family vacations in the mountains, cruises in the Caribbean, and weekends at the lake; anywhere she could spend time with her family. Her four grandchildren, Madelyn, Lily, Estella, and Leo brought her endless joy and comfort, and she was so proud to be their Grandma.
She is survived by her parents, Priscilla and Alan Greenhalgh; her daughter Danielle Brewer, her husband Dan, their daughters Madelyn and Lily; her son Cameron Trudeau, his wife Lexie, their children Estella and Leo; her sister Meg Sheidow, her husband Matt and their sons Ryan and Evan; her brother Alan Greenhalgh, his wife Julene and daughters Peggy and Paige, and many loved aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her older brother, Stephen Jenkins.
Family always came first for Sandy. She was strong, silly, and deeply kind; the most genuine soul you could meet. Her laughter was contagious, and even in her quietest years, she could light up a room. Her life was defined by love, humor, and a fierce devotion to her family. She never complained, never gave up, and never stopped smiling. Through every challenge, she showed everyone around her what true resilience looks like; facing life with grace, laughter, and a beautiful smile.
Services will be held at Goshen Community Church in Goshen, NH on November 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sandy’s memory to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America to support ongoing research and families living with HD.
