Scott Sanborn, Sr. Obituary

Ashville, NC: Scott Anthony Sanborn, Sr., 55, formerly of Newport, NH, passed away on February 14, 2021 from complications during surgery.  He was born on November 4, 1965 in Newport, NH to the late Arthur Sanborn, Sr., and Jane (Parker) Sanborn. 

Scott spent most of his life in the Newport area, working for United Construction and Scott Hill Trucking.  He had lived in North Carolina for several years working for Connelly Springs Electric Company before working for himself.  Scott was a simple, hardworking man who enjoyed being outdoors, 4 wheeling, dirt bikes, and mud trucks.  He liked football and the Kansas City Chiefs.  Scott was a kind person and loved his family.

Scott was predeceased by his parents, stepmother, brothers, Kenneth Sanborn, Sr., and Everett Sanborn, Sr., and sister, Betty Monroe.

Surviving family members include his wife, Mandy Sanborn, of Newport, NH, sons, Chris Sanborn of Claremont, Scott Sanborn, Jr., of Claremont, Eric Sanborn of Claremont, and Russell Sanborn of Newport, daughter, Keely Gray of North Carolina, brother, Arthur Sanborn, Jr., sisters, Brenda Blackington, Glenda Parrotto, Kay Cutts, and Julie Keith, 10 grandchildren, and many extended family members. 

A celebration of Scott's life will be held at a later date.
