Tari A. (Lord) MacDonald

Newport, NH - Tari A. (Lord) MacDonald, 59, passed away unexpectedly at home on September 10, 2019.

 

Born in Newport, NH on January 2, 1960 to the late Freeman and Virginia Lord, Tari was a lifelong resident of Newport.  After graduating from Stevens High School, Tari went on to work for North Star Campground for many years.  However, her true passion was holistic healing, which she shared with others in her Reiki Healing business.  She loved the feeling that came with helping others and often pushed herself to accomplish new ways in order to do so.

 

Known for her contagious laughter and easy-going spirit, you could often find Tari in her garden, collecting stones and crystals, and at healing festivals.  Her daughter describes her as caring, giving, silly amazing, beautiful, and funny.  A person you truly wanted in your life and one who will be very sorely missed by her multitude of friends, all of whom she considered family.

 

Tari is predeceased by her parents; her brother, Dick; and her sister, Suzie.  She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Root and her husband, Ryan; two grandchildren, Zayden and Chevelle; siblings, Scott, Toni, and Linda; and close family friends, Venita and Carl Nudd.

 

A private family service will be held at a later date.
