Vicky L. (Avery) Wright

Newport, NH: Vicky L. Wright, 60, passed away peacefully at her home on June 10, 2021 after several years of declining health.  She was born on December 13, 1960 in Newport, NH to the late Herbert (Red) and Sally (Eastman) Avery.

Vicky grew up in Guild and has lived in the Newport area her entire life.  She worked as a waitress for many years at local restaurants including Steak N Stuff and The Pines.  Vicky loved children and babysat for many area children while also raising her own family.  She was an aide at Richard's School for several years.  Vicky loved warm summer weather and could often be found playing and swimming with kids by her pool.  She adored her many pets.

Vicky was predeceased by her parents and by a brother, Steven Avery.

Surviving family members include her loving husband of many years, Dan Wright, Jr. of Newport, son, Steve Wright of Newport, daughter, Michelle Roth and her husband, William, of Sunapee, grandchildren, Johanna and John Roth, sister, Angela Huff of Claremont, sister in law, Gloria Taylor of Dover, NH, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
