Virden "Paddy" P. Mitchell

Goshen, NH: Virden Patrick Mitchell, 79, passed away on September 9, 2022 after a long period of declining health.  He was born on March 17, 1943 in Wilmington, DE to the late Virden M. and Ruth E. (Derrickson) Mitchell.  Born on St. Patrick's Day, he was known to many as Paddy.

Pat married Pamela Higgins and they have shared more than 40 years together.  They have spent the last 20 years in Goshen.  Pat was an amazing harmonica player and enjoyed playing and recording.  Pat loved the Lord and would play harmonica on worship teams at his church.  He and Pam have been attending Lake Church in Newport for many years.

Pat was predeceased by his parents, and by a brother, David Mitchell.

Pat is survived by his wife, Pamela Mitchell of Goshen; son, Sean Patrick Mitchell of Tampa, FL; brothers, Keith Mitchell of Sarasota, FL, and Michael Mitchell and his wife, Robin, of Bartow, FL; brothers in law, Douglas Higgins and his wife, Wilma of Broad Brook, CT, and Randy Higgins and his wife, Debbie of Somers, CT; sister in law, Lornna Mitchell; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday October 9, 2022 at 2 PM at Lake Church in Newport.
