William Eugene Hutchins
August 14, 1981- January 20, 2022
William was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend. He was kind, loyal, and generous. He had an incredible heart and was known for looking after other people and making others laugh.
A graduate of Newport High School and Plymouth State College, William loved the outdoors and spent much of his time hiking, fishing, and looking for gems and minerals. When he became a father, he then shared his love for the outdoors with his son, William Hutchins IV ‘Billy’.
William was known for being the life of the party and had a love for music that his friends often recall in fond memories of William.
William is survived by his mother and father, Leslie and Edward Hutchins of Croydon, He is also survived by his four siblings; Bronwen, Marjorie, Jackson, and Mary and his beloved son, Billy. His memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of those that knew and loved him.
A private ceremony will be held at the Croydon Church on Friday, January 28th . A celebration of life open to all of William’s friends will be held on Friday, January 28th at the Croydon Fire Station from 3-7pm.
