William Raineault

Newport, NH: William Raineault died July 8, 2022 at the Jack Byrne Center. He was 90 years old.

Bill enjoyed the outdoors, spending time in his vegetable garden and flower garden. He liked to read, especially about the Civil War. He really enjoyed going to Wells Beach, ME several times a year. His childrens' friends thought he was a real cool guy.  He was humble and hardworking, well liked by his coworkers and friends. 

He worked for American Hardware, Savage Arms, Emhart, and Sturm-Ruger for many years.

Surviving family members include his loving wife of 63 years, Jeannine Raineault; children, Patricia Raineault, Billy Raineault, Jr. and his wife, Francine, Jeff Raineault and his wife, Pam, and Steve Raineault, Sr., and his wife, Amanda; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 32 Beech Street in Newport on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Noon. Burial will take place at a later date in New Britain, CT.
