Newport, NH: William "Bill" Morrow, 78, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2020. He was born in Newport, NH on September 7, 1942 to the late Gilbert and Ellen (Santti) Morrow.
Bill lived in Guild and Newport for almost all of his life. He served his country in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963 during the Berlin Crisis guarding the Berlin Wall. He spent many years working at Carroll Concrete, United Construction, and Sturm-Ruger. Bill was a member of the American Legion, and the Moose and Forester's Clubs.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Gilbert "Gillie" Morrow and his wife, Eleanor "Mickey" Morrow, Robert Morrow and his wife, Irene, Donald Morrow, and Dennis Morrow, and sister, Beverly White.
Surviving family members include his son, Rodney Morrow of Gonic, NH, granddaughter, Shaelynn Morrow, sister, Sandra Carroll and her husband, Shawn, sister-in-law, Linda Morrow, brother-in-law, Dick White, and many extended family members.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Saturday May 22, 2021 at 11 AM in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Newport, NH.
