Amy Bedell Obituary

Newport, NH: Amy L. (Trombley) Bedell, 40, of Riverbend Drive, died Saturday, February 17, 2024 at her home. She was born in Claremont, NH on March 21, 1983 the daughter of the late Alan Trombley and Ginger (Martin) Shampney.

Amy lived her life in Newport and attended Richards, Towle and Newport High School. She had been employed by American Brush in Claremont, Dunkin Donuts and Ice House Laundromat. 

Amy would do anything for anyone and particularly enjoyed being with family and friends. She also loved her animals. Riding their motorcycle with Chris was a favorite outing and she liked fast cars. She also was proud of her tattoos and piercings.

Amy is predeceased by her grandparents, Arnold and Irene Martin, and Harold and Margaret Trombley, and her father. She is survived by her husband, Christopher Bedell of Newport, NH; children and stepchildren, Jeramhia Bedell, Kylie Bedell, Owen Bedell all of Newport, NH, Austin Bedell, Odell Bedell of Goshen, NH and Biship Miller-Bedell of PA; four grandchildren, Owen, Jr., Clara, Zoey and Hayden; her mother, Ginger Shampney of Newport, NH, her sister, Tina Trombley of Newport, NH, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at V.F.W. Post 8497, 365 Lover's Lane, Charlestown, NH (where Chris and Amy were married). This will be a potluck, so please feel free to bring a dish to share, along with your loving memories of Amy.
