Christina "Missy" Miles Obituary

Christina “Missy” Alice (Daniels) Miles, 47, of South Sutton, NH passed away on Monday, March, 25th 2024. Missy was born in Claremont, NH on June 3, 1976 to Nancy Santti and David Daniels. She grew up and has resided in the Sunapee area the majority of her life. She attended Sunapee High School from which she graduated in 1995.

Missy worked for many years as a nanny and pre-school teacher. She loved spending time with all of the children she cared for. Up until her passing, she worked at Go Lightly Consignment Shop and for her sister’s cleaning company, Cleaner Than Most.

The greatest joy in her life was her family including her dogs Steel, Oden, and Hunter, and cat, Little Rock. She loved getting together for family gatherings and holidays, and spending time with her friends. Over the years she spent time living in Westport, NY and Stanwood, WA with family members, and took many trips up and down the East Coast with her nieces and nephews.

Growing up, Missy spent much of her childhood on Reeds Mills Road, playing at the sandpit with her siblings and cousins, and spending time at friends and relatives houses.

As an adult, she loved to reminisce about her high school days; camping at Trudy’s and spending time on Mt. Crumpit enjoying the beauty of the windmills. Missy also enjoyed spending her time playing board games, reading magazines, doing crossword puzzles, listening to music, and watching 80s movies, especially “Sixteen Candles.” She loved her mom’s homemade apple crisp, mashed potatoes, and spaghetti & meatballs. She never turned away a slice of carrot cake. While she liked being nice and warm inside with a cup of tea, she also liked to be outside looking at wild flowers and continuing her lifelong search for the elusive Big Foot. But more than anything she found the most happiness spending time with the ones she loved most. Missy was a strong woman who fought extremely hard the last year of her life while battling a chronic illness. She was loved deeply and will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Missy is predeceased by her parents, Nancy J. Santti and David P. Daniels. She is survived by her brother Jonathan Daniels and wife Shannon, sister Wanda Santti, brother Norman Santti and wife Kara, and brothers Timothy Santti, and Daniel Santti; Aunt Linda Radford; cousin Richard Hooper; nieces and nephews; Taylor, Daniel, Katie, Alexa, Hunter, and Haylee Santti; as well as numerous other family members.

Calling hours for Missy will be held at Newton-Bartlett Funeral home of  42 Main St. Newport, NH on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 1:00-3:00pm. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
