Sandra L. (Glidden) Godsoe

Sandra L. Godsoe, 64, of Newport passed away on Thursday the 29th of September at New London Hospital due to cancer.

Sandra was born in Newport on December 24, 1951, to Stanley & Eleanor (Ford) Glidden,who predeceased her.Sandra went to Newport Schools and worked for many years at the Beech St. Home for the disabled.

She leaves behind her son Jason, Sisters Pam Joslin and Pat Glidden, Brothers Donald, Kenneth, and Stanley Jr.She also leaves behind her grandson Miles, granddaughters Kaydance & Riley Godsoe and Ashley Fortune, a daughter-in-law, Alicia Godsoe and many nieces and nephews, her step children, Debbie, Teresa, Mary and George Jr. who predeceased her.  Also those who predeceased her were her son Shane, her brothers Duane, Larry, and Kim and sisters Diane and Julie.

Calling hours will be at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Newport on Monday, October 3, from 5-7 P.M. 

Burial will be Tuesday, October 4 at 10 A.M. at Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport.
