Bernie gave me his screen house which sat near the road at his home in Newport. I have it set up at my camp in lempster. I have had many hours of enjoyment in it and think of him often. Rest easy Bernie you were a wonderful person

It is with great sadness that my wife and I just learned of Bernie’s passing. Bernie is my paternal first cousin, who I first met in the late 1980s, when I located him as part of the family history research I was doing at the time. My parents lost contact with Bernie and his family sometime in the late 1930s. Once are families met again, we had many wonderful times together as a family. We have been trying to reach Bernie for several weeks to set up another time to meet for lunch, before his usual trip to Florida for the winter, and we were about to take a trip to New Hampshire to see him. I and the rest of the Dunphy family greatly regret that we did not know about Bernie’s passing in time to attend his funeral. We will miss him greatly.

We were friends of Bernie and Louise for 54 years, we will miss him very much,
we always got together with him when he was in Florida. He joined us for the
Holiday's in Florida. We have many good memories to remember.
