Constance "Connie" Caron

Newport, NH-Constance “Connie” Caron, of 18 Fairway Drive, died suddenly June 8, 2016 at age 74.


Connie was a resident of Newport and attended Newport High.  She was retired from Whelen Engineering.  She is one of twelve siblings and was predeceased by :  Arthur Caron, Jr., Allen Caron, Robert Caron, Phillip Caron, Marilyn Hooper and Beverly Davis.  She is survived by her sisters:  Janet Robillard, Patty Ash, Nancy Daniels, Loretta Whipple and Mary Boutwell. 


Connie leaves behind her companion, Leonard Pollari, her three children, John and his wife, Debi, Brenda and her husband, Gene, and Michael and his wife, Sally.  She has five grandchildren:  John, Kirt, Joshua, AJ and Crystal.  She also has ten great grandchildren:  Emry, Johnny, Halle and Jasper, Jack and Gage, Jadelynn and Jonelle and Lauren and Kimber.


Connie was an active member of her church, the Church of the Good Shepherd.  She was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook.  She was such a caring person and was always baking something delicious, especially her pies, for someone or offering to help anyone whenever she could.  She was proud to be a blood donor who gave often to the American Red Cross.  Giving multiple units and was often called to come and donate her rare blood.  A loving grandmother and mom, she will live on in our hearts forever.


Friends may call at the Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Newport, NH on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 P.M.  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Church of the Good Shepherd.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Newport, NH.
