I assume many families have a guy they call Uncle that's not really their Uncle. But in the case of Uncle Bob, to me that's just semantics, since he was more of uncle to me and my family than our actual uncles. Richard Bache wrote "Rarely do the members of the same family come from under the same roof." As I look at his photo I wonder if there has ever been a more kind, more self donating man? Thank you Lord for allowing us to know him as well as we did and for letting us be part of his life. PS. Heaven is gonna need a spittoon:0)

Harley was the best brother and brother in law person could ask for. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and give encouraging words. He will be truly missed. We know in our hearts, the minute he passed through the pearly gates he went to work running some sort of construction equipment. Miss you Harley with all of our hearts. Till we meet again.

Harley was a very dear part of our family for 30 years and will be greatly missed. One could not have asked for a better step-dad or grandfather. "Grampa Harley" taught all three of his grandchildren to drive, target shoot, and play pool. We greatly enjoyed taking family trips together with Harley and my mother, Margaret to places like Cancun Mexico, York Beach, Maine, Las Vegas, and The Hoover Dam. Harley was well read, well traveled, and enjoyed doing his crossword puzzles everyday. He was a smart, brave, thoughtful, loving man who was particularly fond of many dogs that he had "adopted"over the years including Sheba, and Rocky, (along with his present dog). We love you, Harley and will always be grateful that we had the privilege of having you in our lives. May God rest your soul.
In loving memory, Katie, John, Dean, Gina and Alex
