We were so sorry to learn of Lenny's passing. Ironically the news came to us from Herman's present barber whom replaced Lenny following his retirement. Stories abound in our home about Lenny and Herman and their escapades in the National Guard, at Lakeside Lodge, in the halls of Towle High School and lastly their trips to Bradford Square Dance Hall and frequent times of running out of gas. He will be deeply missed.

To his loving family, I have wonderful but few memories of Leonard. When I did visit as a child and then as an adult at age 36, Leonard was the first person on the scene to welcome me. He took it upon himself to make sure I felt comfortable in an awkward situation. He was so kind and compassion, much like my grandfather, his father. His family was so blessed to have had such a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle!! God speed and hold you in God's loving arms. I am so sorry for the ones left behind without you in their lives but you are rewarded for all of your good deeds on this earth.

So very sorry to read this! Kind, gentle, funny and a quick wit, always a pleasure anytime we saw each other. I know our parents had so many wonderful times together and I got to babysit for all of you! You must be very proud of who he was. Hopefully you will share many memories and the love you have for each other will comfort you. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Peace be with all of you. Jill
