Patrick Brown

Newport, NH: Patrick Brown, 35, died on December 9, 2016 after a long battle fighting several medical issues.  He was born on December 16, 1980 at New London Hospital to Cedric and Linda (Evans) Brown.  He was a lifelong resident of Newport and a graduate of Newport High School, class of 1999.

Pat worked at several places, his most recent being his favorite.  Pat worked in the dietary department of the New London Hospital as a line cook.

Pat was an avid Boston Bruins fan and seeing them win the Cup in 2011 was one of his favorite days.  He enjoyed tinkering on his many cars that he had throughout his life but none as much as his red 2003 Mustang.  He often was found online playing games and chatting with his friends, especially his girlfriend, Crystal. 

Pat cherished his niece and nephew.  He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, boyfriend, and friend.

Pat touched many lives in his short life and with his big heart, he always had a shoulder to cry on, he was someone you could depend on, and would give you the shirt off his back.  He was always there for everyone to put a smile on your face or just give you a hug. 

He was predeceased by his grandparents and his dogs, Storm and Hobo.

Survivors include his father, Cedric Brown of Newport, mother, Linda Brown and her significant other, Henry Craig of Exeter, girlfriend, Crystal Patterson of North Carolina, sisters, Michelle Asanowicz and her husband Jason of Acworth, and Tammy Geer and her husband Randy of Newport, niece, Bryanna Geer and nephew, Garrett Asanowicz. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. 

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 11 A.M. to 1P.M. at the Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Newport, NH.   A celebration of life will follow the service from 1 - 3 P.M. at the Newport Moose Lodge on Golf Club Road off of the Unity Road.
