Thomas J. LaJoice

Newport, NH: Thomas J. LaJoice, 66, died on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH after a brief illness.  He was born on January 9, 1950 in Proctor, VT to the late Joseph L. and Alice M. (Gilligan) LaJoice. 

Thomas worked as an assembly worker at Yankee Book in Contoocook, NH for many years.  He enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and was a NASCAR fan.  He liked to cook and watch the Food Network channel.  He was a member of Newport Moose Lodge and the Forester's Club. 

Thomas was predeceased by his first wife, MaryJane LaJoice.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Joanne (Marsh) LaJoice of Newport, stepdaughter, Heidi Conlon and her husband Joe of North Sutton, NH, brothers, James Dennan and his wife Jane of Orlando, FL, Joe LaJoice and his wife Cathy of Rutland, VT, Alfred LaJoice and his wife Jan of California, and Frank LaJoice of Springfield, VT, sisters, Joann Wojenski and her husband Larry of Brattleboro, VT and Gina Fowler of Alstead, NH, 2 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Newport Forester's Club on Maple Street.  Burial with military honors will be held at the NH Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen on Friday at 1:30 P.M.
